Ummmm, WOW!!! This piece just SLAYS IT. And while I'm all about #BRINGBACKTHEBROOCH, this can be worn as a pin, on a chain, or even as a hair ornament! Honestly you just don't find pieces like this anymore!
Crafted in silver, the pin is a classic spray brooch, featuring an array of Antique Cut Diamonds. In total, there are 64 Diamonds, averaging G in color, SI1 in clarity, and totaling approximately 5.60ct.
Other Important Details:
The brooch is 66mm x 46mm.
The entire piece is silver. When this piece was made, white gold had not yet been invented. And Platinum was not used in jewelry yet (the melt temp was too high to use for the techniques of the time).
The brooch weighs 9 grams.
The total carat weight for this piece is approximately 5.60ct.
This piece shows a fascinating array of antique diamonds, comprised mostly of what we call old English Squares, or a precursor to the Peruzzi Cut. The two largest stones are more of the Peruzzi Cut, while the smallest stones are single rose cuts.
This piece is En Tremblant, which refers to how it was made. Each leaf has its own wire work, allowing it to "tremble", or shake slightly, to catch the light when worn.
All our items have been fully inspected for authenticity and condition by a GIA Graduate Gemologist.
